The rust was released on the River Tweed in 2020. Judging by the silence since I suspect it has been unsuccessful. tweedforum.org/our-work/pro... I would be delighted to hear if it is successful as balsam pulling year after year is tedious!

Interesting, I think there is variation in susceptibility based on where the ancestors of the Himalayan Balsam came from
