Correct we are so politically divided. The attention span of some Americans can’t keep up or turn a blind eye. It’s not until it directly affects their life somehow, that they wake up. I’m still dumbfounded that there’s a huge sector of the population who decided not to vote. Conundrum
I think Trump's tariffs is going to galvanize the vote for the next few cycles, to be honest. We just have to get enough momentum to overcome the gerrymandering.
I’m not opposed to blue states deciding to redistrict as well. It’s sad to think that this has to be the norm in order to overcome.
One of the biggest reasons not to gerrymander is because if you do it the other side might, too. If the other side is doing it anyway, then that sucks but "you dance with the girl that brung you." (sic)
