We set a tarp over the deck to provide some shade for the guest dog. We can't allow him in the house or to run loose because he is, not out of meanness, but nonetheless, a cat chaser. And a force of destruction. He has shredded a dog bed, a blanket, & a stuffed toy. He now has a hard ball he adores.
His person was in hospital as of a couple of days ago. We haven't heard anything since then, so I have trepidations. Shadow is a good dog, but not a dog we can keep, for many reasons. It was supposed to just be a couple of days, then the person's friends would take him. It NEVER works that way.

Same. Io is speaking with the person. He should be released in a few days, & is trying to get a voucher for shelter once he's out. I pray that will happen.
