Yes. Brodie was given up by his former people at age 10 when he developed diabetes. The rescue called me because they knew I wanted a dog, and had experience giving injections. The moment I saw him *I KNEW!* But I was also scared as I'd never had a dog as an adult, only cats. But we bonded shortly.
When I would get home from overnight sits he would do this little circle dance & yap, and I'd pick him up for cuddles! It was the best! We'd sit together, or he'd cuddle with the cats. We didn't change his name b/c you don't do that to a ten year old dog, but we added "Darth." He also loved treats.

Many! Here's a sweet one. I also have a picture of him in his Darth Vader halloween costume. Which he wore for about long enough to take the pictures. We didn't even bother with the so-called "helmet." Thank you for asking.

Thank you! He was such a good natured little guy, got along with cats, dogs, people. I always tried so hard to do right by him. Io always said I "doted" on Brodie. It sounds like you completely dote on Terry, and he knows it in his heart.
