This is extremely disturbing. I don't use Youtube on my phone b/c safety, but I accidentally opened a link a friend sent a few days ago,but immediately force stopped it. Today I got a heretofore unseen by me alert icon, & it was a youtube sent to me by someone I don't know, and it opened on its own.
I tried to exit & it wouldn't close, so I force stopped it again, but now I am concerned. Now that after having the phone for years & finally opening youtube, does that make it vulnerable to anything anyone wants to send? Was it spam? How do I stop it? Do I just disable Youtube on it entirely?ARGH!
I disabled youtube. Hopefully I will not receive anything more of that ilk.
