I *suspect* they want to use Union Station as a photo opportunity to hang Trump's portrait up for everyone coming toDC. It would be intimidating for people to enter the capitol to the sight of armed guards. I hope someone asks Trump if he will prioritize actual repairs over hanging his photo up.
