Rightly or wrongly this was an extremely divisive issue within our community. To just arbitrarily change the signs without notice or ceremony has peeled off all the scabs we have been working to heal...

Further there has been no narrative or change management to go with this to minimise confusion with visitor traffic...especially in an area with such high visitor traffic and on the first day of the school holidays...

This has been happening since Feb tho? They've slowly changed the signage so this stretch was possibly done now? They had to align it with maintenance so the costs didn't blow out. www.waikatotimes.co.nz/nz-news/3605...
