So I get to teach Qualitative Research Methods next semester! I'd really like my students to read 1 classic ethnography and 1 contemporary ethnography. I have my contemporary pick. I'd be interested to hear from #anthropology #academicsky about their fave classic ethnography for undergrads

I kind of want to do Death Without Weeping but idk if that would be too long/intense for an undergraduate class? I feel like I read 10 ethnographies per semester (among all my classes) as an upper level undergrad, but that doesn't seem to be the case now.
