"Pond of England", to be consistent, and it sounds more pretentious, doesn't it? Since Danes ruled large parts of the north Atlantic ( Norway, Faroy, Iceland, Greenland, and parts of the British isles) in the past, "Pond of Denmark" would also work, with some bonus provocative effect.
