When people say AEW is the second coming of WCW, shows like this made me realize they're the spiritual successor to ECW.

ECW’s crowds were a different breed. Too 90s to be replicated today

I wasn't old enough to watch ECW back in the day (didn't start watching wrestling until 2002). Going back and watch old ECW shows is like opening a time capsule. Definitely a product of the 90s.

Same, I wasn’t watching young enough to see it live unless you want to count ONS, but that’s the sort of shit that flew and was cool as an East Coaster back then Not to mention Heyman was practically a cult leader whereas TK is the beloved billionaire dork

ONS 2005 is probably the best PPV WWE put on in the 2000s. I loved watching it. It really opened my eyes to what wrestling could be. Unfortunately, I only watched WWE from 2002-2017 until I discovered NJPW. I dabbled with TNA, but that was during Aces & Eights and that was dog shit.

To elaborate, the Philly fans might be cussing but they’re cussing in the spirit of fun Back then it was the more kayfabe-coded gtfo of my arena if you’re not with this shit type vibe Just a whole different animal

I like to tell people AEW is ECW with WCW's money.

Without WCW's incompetence too.
