As long as he can afford to take care of all 9 kids responsibly, let him have 9 more. The AEW schedule most likely helps him spend time with those 9 kids, as well as making enough money to make sure those kids want for nothing. Plus, he's a chicken farmer. I bet he makes a killing there too.

If that's 100% true, then I'm super happy for him. He deserves all of the flowers. It still pisses me off though that Jay had to die so a Briscoe could get on national television.

Yeah, that's a bad lot. From what I've seen some racist stuff was said early on that, while they'd both gone back on it and apologised, made the network nervous. The presentation of the guys as what real life Gambit would look like combined with that made them sure it would be brought up and make...

The stuff Jay said was horrible (it was in relation to gay people), but he went out of his way to apologize personally to a lot of people in the business. Even if he still thought the things he said, it takes a lot of guts to tell people you were an idiot for saying stupid shit.

...them look bad. And honestly, we live in an era where old tweets are resurfaced all the time and cost people jobs. James Gunn famously made a shitty remark a decade earlier, apologised for it, and left both viewable for honesty, and that was used by right wingers to get him sacked from Marvel.

People say dumb shit online all the time. Stuff is bound to resurface every now and then. If the person takes accountability for it and apologizes, then I feel like we should give them the benefit of the doubt. If the behavior continues though, then there's an issue.

So I can kinda see where the network was coming from, plus they were definitely starting to give in to Tony. He was fighting to have them on and even managing it on a Dynamite at the end to set up their ROH battle. Just a shame that they didn't give in sooner. Makes me wonder if he'd still be here.

TK going to bat for them was awesome. Unfortunately, WBD didn't feel the same way. They finally gave in, but at what cost?
