This is so stupid. This country needs immigrants. The GDP relies on population. No matter how many babies they get white women to have it will never be enough. Now is not the time to be turning warm bodies away. We should be doing everything in our power to make our country appealing to immigrants.
Legal immigration remains perfectly acceptable.

“Legal” is long and complicated. Our ancestors came here “illegally”. Why don’t we have a system for asylum seekers like we did with Ellis Island? Racism. That’s why.
Until it changes, legal is the way it should be done versus sneaking into the country. If you do, or you overstay a visa, you risk getting thrown out…especially if you commit a crime
