I miss the days of all-in-one development, so you could master a single program that did almost everything alone.
That’s never existed apart from the very early days of machine code, and even then each system had their own commands. While there are a plethora of language choices now, almost all will handle whatever you want to make in them. Some are just better suited for some problem spaces than others.

I was a pioneer of the virtual reality industry, and also did work in traditional multimedia. Both used one program for all work (Superscape; Toolbook), the only thing that needed an additional program was art, and we chose one for sound, though it could have been done in-program.
This is clearly nonsense, as The Coding Train usually use Processing, which is an environment based on Java. Or p5.js, which is a Javascript library. How can it be best for Lua when it doesn't teach Lua at all. AI slop.
