What actions in particular didn’t you like & which did you like?

Trump should have never walked free after Jan 6th and the fact that they didn’t pursue him harder in the face of “normalizing” was utter foolishness. Can’t say I love the US funding Israel’s genocide in Gaza or Biden’s reflective defense of it either. Do you really need a fucking list?

“Character” matters. Is the candidate a decent, honest, caring person who treats people with dignity & respect? Does the candidate want to leave the world in a better condition than at the start? Does the candidate rely on proven facts & expert opinion to make policy decisions? Well-informed?

Hmmm. Funding and arming a still ongoing genocide would defy most people's definition of leaving the world in a better place

It is not binary. Biden helped with the existential danger to us ALL of a climate crisis, leaving the world in a better place. The horrors that war brings is separate. Hamas attacked Israeli citizens & took hostages. Israel retaliated. Far too many Israeli & Palestinian civilian casualties!

Ok so you think the genocide is justified because of what happened on 10/7 which tells me you know nothing of the atrocities Israel has been committing against Palestinians for decades. Atrocities that led to the rise of Hamas. Hamas is a symptom of Israels cruel oppression.

Perhaps I am unaware of the info you have, but I do know that Hamas likely knew that Israel would retaliate before conducting 10/7. Why would Hamas act knowing that Israel had military advantage? Why didn’t Hamas surrender the hostages when Palestinian civilians were dying? See, it is not so binary.

So let me confirm I understand your point here. Your point is that Israel is fully justified in violating every international law, committing war crimes like collective punishment, and slaughtering 60,000 largely innocent men, women and children in pursuit of the release of what is now 20 hostages?

If so, regardless of anything Hamas did on 10/7, there is no justification for the indiscriminate slaughter of Palestinians. If they're really after Hamas they need to figure out a different strategy. Period. Add to that Israeli government officials have outright called for the destruction of Gaza

And it's people. Openly admitting they don't care about the hostages. If they really do care about the hostages they wouldn't be bombing everything to pieces and starving the population. If Hamas can't eat, do you think they're feeding their hostages? Now, again, I ask do you know any history?

This is from 2017 www.amnesty.org/en/latest/ne... You can Google more on your own to learn of the horrors Palestinians face under Israeli apartheid. And tbc, I don't condone the murder of innocents on either side but you have to be blind or cruel to not see how Israel is also at fault for 10/7

The true existential threat is genocide apologists like you who can't see past the end of your nose to recognize that if the world can allow the genocide of one people, it can allow it for any other people. Besides, all the bombing and destruction in Gaza is...not good for the environment

Riiiight. There was a binary decision. A Dem candidate who showed he (then she) had the People’s interest at heart, versus Trump. Not a difficult decision, despite some flaws with the Dem candidates.

Not true, if the choice is A or B or C (No choice). Then the goal of A is to be a better option than B and C. The same for B to be better than A & C. One choice won because they were better able to sell their ideas to the people who had to choose. I think that means the loser is a poor candidate.

It is not always about the candidate “selling their ideas”. People have preferences of news orgs, biases and fallacies, etc. But, yeah, you are correct about the oversized effect of voter perceptions (as opposed to fact).

No, I don’t need YOUR list. It helps me to organize priorities for elected officials by writing my list. As to Trump: 1) he was impeached (Dems+some Repubs) but not convicted (Repubs) 2) the DOJ was separate from Executive influence under Biden, not weaponized like by Trump. 3) SCOTUS & sycophants
