85% of MN corn & soybeans is not consumed by humans. 6% of corn & 5% of soybeans, are directly processed into food for humans. Dairy is mostly consumed locally. MN chicken, turkey & hog factories do provide human food. Iowa claims its farms feed the nation & the world, also.
