I never liked him. Even with Religulous he was doing kind of an atheist version of "what is a woman?" But I did enjoy his show when intelligent people from all around the political spectrum were on the panel, like Matt Taibbi, Scott Galloway or even Ben Shapiro. But now? Who's next? Mike Lindell?

Exactly (well, since "Hunter's Laptop" at least). Real Time used to be the show where I could hear people like him arguing with Bill or someone else on the panel calling bs. No one's calling bs on Newsmax. No one's calling bs on Ben's show. And recently, no one's calling bs on Real Time.

I generally enjoy his shows and perspective and miss him when he’s on holiday.

Bill Mahers career at this point is focused on taking right wing talking points and wrapping them up for liberals, and he makes a lot of money doing it.

Perhaps. Maher is pretty good on many issues, importantly he’s not a lying mendacious asshole. I don’t watch him to validate my liberal perspective. I like his pushback on both sides. Would be good to have more fact-based center left & center right productions. Bill does that, thinking is good! 🇺🇸
