I don't think that's it because everybody knows his name is in there. It's not a coordinated thing. He's doing the exact opposite of what the rest of his party is doing.

It's not even the first time either with the budget. He's been doing this for a long time. He seems to have really shitty views and believe in some really terrible things but he can't be swayed once he thinks what he thinks. So he's principled even though his principles most of the time suck lol.
