Republicans outlaw abortion and restrict access to contraception, trying to force women to give birth whether the want to or not, then don't give them a place to do it or provide health care for the child once it exits the womb.

It’s not that so much as that the GOP has to pander to their evangelical base. So lots of prenatal care is verboten since it might abortion related. Add to that the MAHA movement- so let’s get rid of NIH. Then punish the poor.
