This is your Labor Day reminder that the richest 10% of households own 93% of all publicly traded stock. Corporate tax cuts are for wealthy shareholders. Studies show that workers got nothing from Trump's last corporate tax cuts. His new ones cost taxpayers $600 billion.

Happy Labor Day! If you have a real job, your taxes get taken out of your paycheck automatically. If you make money off of having money, you can borrow against your wealth, pass it on to your kids, and never pay a dime of taxes. Great system we've got here.

This is your Labor Day reminder that our tax code taxes investment income at a lower rate than income from actual work. The only reason to do that is to make the rich richer.

Trump recently ordered the Department of the Interior to halt work on a huge wind farm. 1,000 union workers had already completed 80% of the project. Now they're fired. He made sure the oil and gas billionaires got their tax breaks, though. Happy Labor Day, I guess.

Don't let anyone who voted for Trump's tax cuts tell you they support workers. Trump's tax code taxes foreign corporate profits at a lower tax rate than domestic profits. That literally encourages corporations to offshore jobs.

Amazon's CEO got a $6.8 MILLION tax break from Trump in 2017. Walmart's CEO got $6.7 MILLION. Target's got $6.6 MILLION. Every single one of those corporations raised YOUR prices in recent years. Tax cuts for the rich don't trickle down. Wake up.

Retail CEOs probably got around $41 MILLION in tax breaks from Trump between 2018 and 2024. They raised prices by 26% over that same period. Say it with me. Millionaire CEOs do NOT need tax breaks, and corporate tax breaks do NOT trickle down.

Trump's tariffs could generate $1.3 trillion in revenue through 2028. Much of that will be squeezed out of your wallet by corporations. Raising the corporate tax rate to just 28% would raise $1.35 trillion and be taken mostly from wealthy shareholders. Everything is a choice.

Trump is celebrating Social Security's 90th birthday with long wait times, missed checks, a shrinking workforce, and customer service replaced with AI chatbots. Anything to free up money to give billionaires tax breaks, right?

It's Social Security's 90th birthday today. This is your reminder that if billionaires paid their fair share into the program, we could afford to expand benefits for everyone. Instead, they're cutting Social Security to pay for tax breaks for billionaires. Make it make sense.

Happy 90th birthday to Social Security! No, the program is NOT "going broke." But it WILL hit a shortfall and be forced to cut benefits in about nine years unless we tax the damn rich. And it sure doesn't help that Trump and Republicans just voted to cut its funding.

Don't let Trump and Republicans celebrate Social Security's 90th birthday today. They literally just passed a budget that will force Social Security benefit cuts in 2032 by cutting taxes for the wealthy.

40% of Americans are dipping into their savings. 37% are opening credit card debt. Millions can't afford their bills. You know who benefits from all this? Giant corporations. You know who just got a tax break to boost their profits? Giant corporations. WE ARE BEING SCAMMED.

You know things are bad when Trump ousts one of his handpicked, under-qualified goons because they don't want to hand him IRS data to help snatch people off the street. The IRS should be worried about auditing billionaire tax cheats, but Trump took away their funding to do that.

The importer pays the tariff. Corporations will shove that cost off on consumers—and they already are. We could stop corporations from raising prices. But that's not part of this conversation. Instead, those same corporations are getting trillions in tax breaks. Ridiculous.

In case you wondered, Trump's appointed BLS Commissioner is a Heritage Foundation trickle-down devotee. They really want you to think forty years of tax breaks for the rich has worked for you, and that the round of tax breaks they just passed is fixing things. Don't buy it.

Never, ever forget that they slashed billionaire taxes down to practically nothing and then let them make all their money in completely tax-free ways. And then they told you it would be "unfair" to raise taxes on the rich so we can pay for things like healthcare. Insane.
