Renaissance Faire with the boy was nice. Larger than I expected, or remembered, as I do not know if I came to this one long ago. Sad discovery that I do not love a smoked turkey leg. I have been in love with the idea of a smoked turkey leg. This one was gross. I saw a corgi in a pirate hat! A++

A lively, pleasant Renaissance Faire street, with shops on either side. This is the PA ren Faire. It’s nice. A smoked turkey leg, which was larger than it appears here in my gorilla mitt. The smoke flavor tasted fake? I wouldn’t know. It was in foil and pulled out of a cooler. It was warm though because those motherfuckers work BOTH WAYS. I had a few bites and a friendly trash can ate the rest! YOM YOM YOM, it said.

Oh no, a turkey leg let down ☹️ They are my favorite part of Ren Faire when done well. I'm sorry yours wasn't.

PA Ren Faire? Skip the turkey leg, go for the Scotch egg and pickle on a stick

It could’ve been liquid smoke that gave it that fakeness you tasted. But to be fair, your eyes are fake so it looked real to you.

Oh wow, I went to the Manheim Renn Faire last year, it was a lot of fun. I tried scotch eggs.
