Normally it makes here nervous, or at least excited, because I taught her that every thunder or firework boom means she gets a treat. She just stay relaxed yesterday, though. There weren't any big cracks and the rain was loud on the roof, so maybe that's why.

Oh man, I am so sorry. It's such a gut punch when they go. Leaves a big hole in my heart but eventually it fills with good memories. Eighteen years is an amazing run. RIP, Rascal.
