Ok. I am reacting to you because there are people who will either not vote, or vote for somebody else because of singular issues. It’s how DJT (apparently) won. Much of America is uneducated, fearful & bigoted. They voted for their own demise because they don’t understand trans people.

I do agree, but the bigger issue is DJT. He is making the world less safe for far more people. GN is speaking his mind & being honest about how he feels. Transphobia is real. It scares people because it is difficult to understand. DJT wants you to disappear, literally. That’s the alternative.

Trans people & trans athletes have been around for a long time, in small numbers, like now. What’s new is the crazy Christofascist culture war targeting and scapegoating trans people. Divide & conquer - get everyone to hate & fear trans people, then on to gay marriage next, etc.
