Yeah apparently because it came out of the ground, which I hadn't realised
If Mateta realised the error of his ways and placed the flag back to its appropriate position, would he have still got a yellow card?

Maybe PL should introduce a "kiss and make up" rule for a dangerous play. Might eradicate red card challenges in a jiffy!
