it indeed is, i am using the emulator, because it does some crazy stuff, and even though i copied the firmware from my doorstop 2DS, it acts as a full New 3DS if you ask nicely

and technically it has actually cloned my console, and emulating it as a New 3DS, which just breaks my brain a lot
