it is such a strange thing when somoene challenges someone to specify where exactly they got the idea that newsom or buttigieg are throwing trans people under the bus like it is not perfectly clear based on things still in living memory

Memories are short and glitchy as hell. Just like transgender people forget the multiple times allies have supported them with full throated advocacy, but say one phrase wrong in an interview or express an idea that can be taken the wrong way and be hailed as an enemy for it. It’s human nature.
