i have seen some busted updates but it does seem less common yes
At my work I'm the IT department and I have been slowly but surely migrating everyone not actively developing Windows software onto Linux and it actually goes *best* with non-techies who wanna just memorize what to click on Hell, it's a hit that the Start Menu still in the bottom-left, unlike Win11
i cant fuck with gnome personally but im glad its there. (i3wm baby plug me straight in)
I'm all in on KDE, and it's great for Windows users because it's basically just Windows without any bullshit by default, and then customizeable however one wants if need be Suspect a lotta gamers are gonna get Linux-pilled due to Valve using KDE as the environment for Desktop Mode on the Steam Deck
