No! It actually missed some connections that I know but never the less quite impressive. It doesn’t know things like Mick Ronson playing with Roger McGuinn on a solo album. Maybe the official ascap credit is Just for producer not band? But impressive none the less.
Because it doesn’t know the Mick Ronson to Roger McGuinn connect it’s missing a lot from the David Crosby test. It also (understandably) doesn’t consider his credits with Grateful Dead or Jefferson Airplane. So doing so of this by hand is still needed. But thank you for suggesting it!
Oh and 9 steps to NWA but I bet I can get it closer via the public enemy song sampling For What It’s Worth. Generally it’s not tracking samples period so that’s another way to look for things. It gives 3 steps btwn Public Enemy and NWA but I bet it can be fewer if I look at credits myself.
