When you say “covid is over” or refer to the pandemic only in the pastense you make it easy for RFK jr to withhold the vaccines & defund clinics. You make it easy for employers to end paid sick days. When you don’t mask up you make it easy to pass bans. We organize but what you do & say matters too.

COVID is definitely NOT over. I can testify as I got my first COVID diagnosis today. And I’m one of those careful folks who still wears a mask in many place. Also as an introvert: homebody. For me to get it shows how easy it spreads. Even my daughter was shocked I got it. Vaccinated. Paxlovid. ✔️
The vaccines don't prevent infection. Only meticulous masking and ventilation indoors does that.

The idiot fails to understand that the reason Covid is down IS BECAUSE of the VACCINE!!!! Covid rates are rising in the Midwest however and still represent 1.5% of all deaths in the US, so it’s not exactly over either.
Covid is not over. I have two grandchildren who currently have Covid. My daughter was thoughtful enough to test them. Many parents are not, which is why infections are rampant in the schools.
My employer just made a new policy that if you don’t have any sick days that you miss work you get a payout equivalent to 10 days pay. I told them people will come to work sick then.
I'm still waiting to get over covid, never mind saying covid is over. Covid will never go away, and there's no cure. And now, there is no vaccine for most Americans. Long covid sucks guys. Mask up.
What’s also nefarious re: saying Covid is “over” is that we have an administration that’s actively promoting pseudoscience, destroying past progress, terminating research, & hobbling existing science to weaken society. Mixing a new strain or disease w/ current antipathy is diabolically disastrous.
And know that if you engage in any of the aforementioned behaviors, you are the clinical definition of an idiot. It’s STILL here and it doesn’t care a lick about the denial of science so many people engage in. It just wants a host.
