If a government shutdown happened, it would have totally put the ball in Trump’s court, forcing Trump and Musk to back off with their bullsh*t and present a better plan. This was one of the very few times where Democrats could exert some pressure and control and Schumer and the other 9 folded. 😡
Nope, Trump would’ve just dialed up the carnage and blamed it all on the Democrats EVERYDAY until he got his way, resulting in Democrats looking REALLY stupid. At least now Democrats just look stupid (at least for today). There’s a lot of tomorrows after today.
