burning hot take but it's fine if a person falls in love with inanimate objects or whatever as long as they understand what they're doing, like I don't think these people are that delusional all things considered.

100%, as a teen i remember finishing transmetropolitan and crying a LOT, its not a particularly emotional ending but as an adult i realize it was more the feeling of never seeing a dear friend (spider jerusalem) again the attachment to a concept is kinda normal if you're open to it
