And yes, I'm being judgemental. I'm not usually judgemental, but I draw a line at supporting fascism. It's been 8 months since Trump took office, and the U.S. is nose diving into a full-blown autocracy. So yeah, I'm going to do as much as I can to avoid supporting fascist collaborators.
If you want to rid yourself of your guilty conscience, what you can do is start a conversation with your friends and online communities about migrating to other platforms rather than remaining wilfully ignorant and instead going out of your way to chastise someone for doing the right thing.
Yes we're living through late stage capitalism and I'd like to live to see the collapse of this broken system and that won't happen unless people stop mindlessly handing their money over to the very people who benefit most from it and who will do everything they can to see that it survives.
