I asked Kaiser Permanente for one and they said they are waiting for the updated version before taking appointments. I am starting to think I'm gonna have to road trip to Canada. So much winning.

Yep. I just got boosted with the last version. I’m headed to Mexico around February. I’m going to see if can get boosted while I’m there (if they don’t have it in the states by then). It’s ridiculous that we have to go to another country just to get a vaccine. 😡

Happy to pay for it if they let me. Moderna is making Covid Vaccine in Canada. Moderna is a US Company so I guess you could say it's a multi-country vaccine. Nice.

Moderna is making it in Canada. Pfizer likely will. These are American companies. We could just be happy that this is a two country effort for Canadians, no? As far as I know there aren't Canadian companies that have developed a Covid vaccine but I certainly could be wrong. Happy to be corrected.

I would if they let me. I'm retired, Canada is only looking for working folk. I would be happy to buy a home or invest but they don't have programs for that. I have a grandbaby in Chicago so Canada is actually closer to them than Virginia. Canada.....if you are listening please let me in. 🙏

I read that some pharmacies in Canada will give Americans the vaccines but you have to call first to see if they have the extra dosages and will have to pay. I personally would rather get it later, so it lasts the whole winter and that goes for the flu shot as well. Thank you, Canada.
