My gripe with it, they won what, 25 in a row? And for them to not even be in the conversation to make the playoffs was a joke and only showed how stacked the deck was if you weren’t one of a handful of programs.

It really laid bare that this playoff is a TV show more than it’s a means for awarding a national title. They absolutely did not want to lose another Alabama/Clemson rematch

I’d support the playoff more if every conference champ got an invite. I’d rather see some Sun Belt kids get their big time moment than the 5th place team in the SEC

I’d go to 16. Give each conference an auto bid, give the P4 a second auto bid, and then have 2 at-large spots.
