I fill it with starts that I have extras of (I start a lot of seed so I always have extra), bouquets when I can, and then collected seeds in the fall. I love seeing my neighbors drop by and get excited about whatever I put out that day 💖

Nice stand! We have a small freecycle corner in our building's laundry room. I left two impatiens there yesterday morning and they were gone in the afternoon.

Love that! That’s how this stand started too- I would just put out random plants I had extras of on our curb and they were always gone within the day. People love plants!

One day I was told to go around back to drop of my plants at a charity shop. I left them out on the sidewalk instead, as freebies. In the past they were always accepted through the front door. Nowhere to tie up my bicycle. People were taking them before I left!

I am legitimately jealous of your neighbors.

Most importantly, hi Andrea!! 💖💖 and yeah I’ve been loving it- I’ve gotten to know so many of my neighbors this way and it’s been a great little community builder. I started with just some extra plant starts in old cardboard boxes on the curb but it’s turned into a whole operation since 😆

Hiya!! That’s so cool, I’m impressed!! I might need to set up our own little stand later this summer because I planted too much garlic and too many potatoes again… 😅

Oh yeah, I’ve heard of little free pantries that put out extra veggies that people grow! Garlic and potatoes are a great thing to put out too since they hold up well!
