Research on bullying completely backs this up. Clear boundaries. Looking them in the eye and telling them to stop. Having other people who support you also helps. It’s science. (And if a child is not confident enough to do it, other kids can play that role and be as successful)

100% true! When I was bullied daily in jr. high, my mother said, "Just ignore them and they'll get tired of it." It went on for weeks. You know what finally worked? I marched up to that guy and punched him right in the face. He never bothered me again.
