Also, that’s my general critique of capitalism, but I have been in communities in America, where there’s definitely white Christian nationalism that is explicitly racist and seems that it would propagate after the collapse of capitalism. So some racism is independent of capitalism I’m sure

Squares and rectangles. All capitalism is in service of white supremacy, but not all racism is in service of capitalism. In fact, hardly any. White supremacy is an end in and of itself.

I agree with some of your points but I disagree as far as the general conclusion. Seems we are disagreeing about which is the horse and which is the cart as far as which came first. Greed has been around since the start of time, but racism in its current form has primarily existed since capitalism.

The point may be moot though. It doesn’t really matter which one came first. Capitalism sucks. Racism sucks. Both are self-serving ideologies that oppress one group of people to prop up another.

You see it with white rural voters who choose whiteness over prosperity and sustainability for their communities. White women who choose whiteness over bodily autonomy. Children's advocates who vote for white children to go hungry rather than Black children to be fed. Whiteness is about whiteness.

Also, the very idea of whiteness was fabricated by the same owner class that I’m talking about. We didn’t even have that as a concept until about 400 years ago. It’s basically the original mean girls club. And yeah, rural voters tend to suck but I find that those who move into a city tend to change

Right, so whiteness has been the Anglosphere's dominant cultural and political paradigm for 400 years now. Regardless of why whites invented racism, they did, and it's a beast unto itself now. I encourage you to listen to Black people about their own experiences.

Yeah, I’m sure I have a lot more to learn. I’m still unlearning colonialism which was glorified in my early education. And as an aside, I always read authors that write from the side of the oppressed class. No point in learning from the victors in an unjust society. It’s always lies and excuses
