Cloudberries

Just finished picking about three kilos of this delicacy 😋

That's a lot though, do you make jam or preserves? Do you put them in a pannkaka😃

Yes, it's a lot - I was very lucky this year! I make jam with gently crushed berries. It goes in the freezer in small portions that I use throughout the year. Used as bread spread.

I just found out that we can harvest these in America. In Alaska of course. But I don't think they pay a lot attention to them.

They should definitely pay attention to them, I'm sure cloudberries would be a success once people get to taste them.

I spent time at my friend's 160 year old farmhouse. There are still good parts to America with kindness and love. But Trump/Vance signs as we drove about. What will become of us?
