It seems relatively rare to not be sure of the tone of written words, but in the times it just just ask for clarification. It's not rocket surgery.

I think that's a symptom of the illiteracy. People get angry when they don't fully understand something or believe they are being attacked. The anonymity of the web definitely allows people to great each other like they aren't humans.
