this probably all comes back to school funding reductions and the fact that the high schools all built $30M stadiums five years ago instead of continuing to play at the local college's stadium, but come on. Middle school football has an app to pay for tickets now.

Not ALL high schools built $30M stadiums. In fact, I bet outside of Texas & a few southern states.. it’s not a thing at all. I’m in California & none of our local schools play at colleges but do have typical high school “stadiums”. Our middle schools play at 3:15 on nothing more than grass in

the field & no one charges anything. Lol.. it’s flag football and coached by volunteers. I do understand there’s a certain mentality in those other states.

I think the primary appeal of the app to the schools is that it addresses that fewer people carry cash, at all, and reduces the inherent risk of cash misappropriation.
