Dealing with my aging father is such a challenge. Between health, finances, and general rrrgggghhh, it’s been a trying time.

I’m there rn with my 89yo mom who has declined tons in the past couple years. So much exhaustion coupled w/being hard on myself for not being better at this.

There’s not a ton we can do. I wish I’d been able to get him to make better decisions for his health years ago, but he is allowed to make dumb choices and we just deal with the fallout now
