funny that, sometimes the scarier they look (or are branded to be) the ‘softer’ they are up close not same/same but with quite the reputation & theatrics, I saw Turbonegro early 2000s…just lot’s of fun and much affection from the crowds I’ll have to make Ghost a priority next time

as a woman on the ‘wrong side’ of middle age, I’ve felt perfectly safe at the front of a Meshuggah gig :)

I've never once seen drama, or felt bad vibes at metal, punk or goth clubs. They all look certifiably insane, but they've always been very kind to an old fella.

ditto but I do know well enough to stay away from any circle work at a Lamb of God gig for example - I’m not silly 🤣
