Speaking as someone who unfortunately just barely cracks into the first couple years of Gen Z, I hate so many of us personally.

Like i think the cohort that was already basically in College when covid startrd with the oldest already graduated feel distinctly different (maybe also those already in their sênior year of highschool)

I couldn’t agree more. Something happened during that time that a lot of the younger ones, especially men, haven’t recovered from and they don’t want to try. The resentment, entitlement, and willful ignorance is off the charts. Their COVID experiences made/makes them lean into their worst impulses.
