I couldn’t agree more. Something happened during that time that a lot of the younger ones, especially men, haven’t recovered from and they don’t want to try. The resentment, entitlement, and willful ignorance is off the charts. Their COVID experiences made/makes them lean into their worst impulses.

That has exactly been my experience on the backroads in Ohio. I can count numerous times where I was sure I was about to be driven into a ditch because a truck driver with a suped up truck and a bad day felt that my going only 10 miles over the speed limit was too slow.

Not to mention the federal appellate and district courts are a creation of Congress. President gets to nominate officers to these courts, but Congress has a good bit of leeway in their makeup, and the Senate in particular given its unique role.
