i do not have food allergies so i have never once asked what a fried food was fried in, in for a penny in for a pound, i take what i get, just like a public bathroom

i *do* feel like you have to announce any kind of animal fat, though, because i’d fucking kill you if i found out i just ate beef fat for vegetarian reasons. naming your place that, though, is a whole other thing.
oh totally, and it’s such a more expensive way of cooking that you’d assume people would want to advertise it in some way (which i think was probably the misguided idea here), just not in the name of a place that serves almost exclusively fried chicken
but also i don’t think most vegetarians or people in general know what the word tallow means
okay, i feel like most vegetarians probably have at least a vague idea what that word means because you have to avoid it.
haha maybe my generally vegan-friendly la experience speaking here but i feel like it’s not a broadly known term. or wasn’t. maybe it is now! who says the government is out of the public education business
