I would advocate for "identifies as in normal life" being baked into the distinction despite the potential for abuse. My goal is to widen representation by fiat.

I thought it was more equitable society I think it would spectacularly backfire. Look at the UK. I don’t see the same division among feminists. It’s drawing a lot of legal lines that will get stretched in unforeseen ways. I think people should be able to choose best representation for themselves.

The problem is that people are woefully ignorant about civics, science, history, law etc. and succumb to undue influences.

I don't know what to do about that. The people in a position to change that are the ones dismantling any part of the education system that doesn't teach people to idolize dead white men.
