No question but I have a comment. I’m immunocompromised from an autoimmune disorder I’ve had for decades. On top of that, I have cancer. Herd immunity is important to keeping me alive. Herd immunity is important to not letting the virus mutate! The GOP is wrong here. On every point.
This isn’t a realistic goal for a country or world population. Covid came on planes and spread through the population from major airport cities. You cannot contain transference or mutations even with high vaccination rates (herd immunity) and it is a short term proposition for each variant.
