You nailed it. All this discourse revolving around Americans being uneducated just plays into his goofy narrative. There are masses of talented, brilliant engineers and techies in America. The problem is pay and subservience. They're much harder to bully and short change.

The U.S. is ranked third in the world for graduating engineers. Around 120,000 graduate each year with engineering degrees from some of the best universities in the world. Elon's narrative is a fairy tale he hopes Republicans will buy into so he can hire cheap foreign labor.

Unfortunately at least in IT tech, Canada is an awful place to work. Our wage suppression is very real. I'm just about forced to look for remote work in the United States to achieve a middle class salary.
