Every time I tried to use tmux or screen consistently, it collided with my copy and paste habits somehow. But in general they are great tools everybody doing terminal work should at least know about as an option.

It has taken some intensive muscle memory retraining coming from screen. I’ve got some binds to make it more screen-like but I think I’m going to drop even those when I’m a little less busy 😅 For copy and paste I had to disable some iterm features because it was doing wayyy too much.
