What's to celebrate? The concentration camps being built? The massive abductions and denials of due process? The betrayal of all of our allies? The denial of basic human rights? The removal of SNAP to feed hungry children? The death of USAID? This country should be in mourning, not celebrating

I’ve already been thru family separation w/my son’s father in 2012. I’m done. When one contemplates moving to a murder capital for a better life, you need to stop the🐂 💩. Something needs to be done. It’s going to get super ugly. I don’t know that we have the allies we did in 1776 ish & mid 1800s.
We just don’t. I don’t think our typical lovers of democracy are going to rise against trump. I think they think we are all complicit — hugely the opposite. Senators and house congress have to start acting. If not, don’t be surprised who gets lost in the inevitable uprising. Or secession.

I’m actually quite ashamed to be 🇺🇸 at the moment. I’d love for leaders to offer guidance on how to feel about this. To me, there is no way forward. I’m expending energy I shouldn’t have to trying to gtfo. Focusing on a remote legal practice so I can flee. I’d love to 🛑 😭 over the loss of 🇺🇸

Not proud, not celebrating. Appreciate the sacrifices made, especially those by my veteran family members.
Appreciate your opinion Mr Beshear but don't agree. As Canadians we are visiting Ireland and discovering one of the greatest countries. They have freedom here. They have the ability to speak their minds. They have healthcare and they do not support genocide in Palestine- you have none of those.
