The hatred for women is longstanding. It predates 2024 by a long shot. By 2019 our family put plans in place to send our two overseas for school and there they remain. USA in its current iteration is not good for women or young people in general.

Well I hope you are right, I am looking at voter registration and rump hanging in the 40s when he's been a historical disaster on every front as evidence that the propaganda is propping them up, and with the redistricting I am out of hope. That plus the muted response to the horrors we have seen 🤷🏼

This is something I’m struggling with. There are moments where my anger has me ready to shut the door on that relationship, while the rest of the time I’m frozen in indecision. Family is often synonymous with complicated emotions and I’m chock-full of those when it comes to this man.

I would argue that because of the broken media infrastructure of this country, not enough of America was exposed to her speech to say they "rejected it".
I saw people on social media posting that she didn’t have positions on things that were in their platform. They did zero research.
I don't know about that in this case; it was on prime time national television across all the broadcast and cable networks. And it was all over social media. Not enough people agreed with what she said or were motivated to actually get off the couch and vote. Truly sad.
More precisely approximately 1/3 rejected it, 1/3 took it seriously and 1/3 didn't care enough to vote. Yep, disgraceful.
